EVERY rig has to display a fire extinguisher?
I'll probably be there. Might be my last chance since next year I hope to not look like factory and don't want to go to a buick show and be put out to the side like I don't measure up.

Fire extinguishers in all cars is just an added safety feature. Most other national groups require them and most people have them in their cars.
We have not worked out our parking plan yet but will probably not be parking by class.

Hey Duke ~ Does this mean that little things like peep mirrors and custom hubcaps will be classified as mod?... or are you talking more obvious things like hood scoops and rollbars etc?

No - minor stuff like mirrors and caps are fine. A couple of years ago we had a guy show up in an early '50s Buick in suede with flames and try to register as a stock car. All we are saying is the ultimate class selection will be up to the committee. My 48 has Coddington wheels and is obviously modified with a 455 but my 68 is lowered but is almost stock. Besides that disclaimer was on last years form as well.

It is normally not an issue for most cars and folks.
Remember - I'm show chair and pretty easy going.:beers2:

Don't worry about it - come have fun and show your Buick.:TU:

    Thanks for clarifying, Duke.

I plan on being there either way... with my peep mirrors :beers2:

I'll try not to notice them!

Fact is I'll be so busy that morning that a couple of stray mirrors won't even get seen - even if I was looking for them.

We're after a good, fun show and not to nit pick the cars.

I went last year and it was a great time, but sadly it conflicts with something else this year so I cant make it :ball:

Great show last year, I am hoping to make it again this year, just need to convince my wife not to do the Danskin's Triathlon that weekend.

Hi Duke & Chiris and the rest of the Buick Brothers !
I plan on being there. I missed it last year. I may have the
convertible still apart resealing the engine and adding the new
"Just Dashes" dash and the addition of new bezels & AC for Hot August Nights
in 2011. But at least all have the X there.

It was a good show last year even though I didn't end up bringing my car.
Got exciting at one point when the wind blew though and a tent and some stuff came loose!
Lots of nice cars and good people.

Hey Bob - good to hear from you. If you're going to be at Ocean Park - why not bring a Buick to Vancouver? We're not that far from Tacoma or where ever the kids are! Either way and either place it's always good to see you!

IF you really wanted a form - you could look further up this chain and maybe one will bite you! It was good seeing you yesterday too! Better get the form in before I raise your rate just for being a pain.:moonu: Did you sell that car yet?

Lol, great seeing you and your better half too Duke! Your friend drove it and took a flyer, but I haven't heard from him. Another guy says he is coming by tomorrow, but who knows if he will show up. I would prefer not to sell it until October or so, maybe get at least a couple of chances to take it to shows with the top down. Would be a perfect car to take to your show on August 15!
