I wonder if there will be any boats in the parking lot this year ?

I hope not. Seems like there are 3 or 4 big weddings that weekend & that is why the hotels are booked. From what the hotel manager said she did not know of any boat groups so maybe they went to the other hotels because they are all sold out as well. Some more rooms may open up towards the end of the month.

Don't worry, you'll be 5 miles up in the air doing 550 mph. What could possibly go wrong??

Question for you guys involved with this race. I sent my pre- entry in a while ago but haven't received anything yet. I'll be headed there Thursday. Will I just pick the stuff up at the track Friday?

Just show up at the track and you will be on the list to get in.

What is the schedule for Saturday?
I see it opens at 8/9am. But no other info..... how late does the show run, when are awards given, and what time do eliminations start?
I'm wanting to drive down for the day.

Test and tune starts immediately. Usually 2 rounds sometimes 3 for qualifying. Car show starts immediately. Awards are early afternoon. Eliminations about 12. Racing ends at 4. Test and tune all day. Best advice is get there early.

Jake, Is there anything happening Friday as far as car display, vendors and folks selling parts etc.?
I was going to take out my 65 and maybe bring a few parts to sell.

Friday there is usually people selling stuff all day. A good amount of racers and some cars on display. Saturday is the car show so there is definitely more cars. If your local then I recommend both days. Friday is a great day to mingle and meet people. As far as vendors since it is free to vend we don't really know who is showing up and also with bowling Green the same day.

    Thanks Jake.

I am local and have attended Saturdays in the past. I plan on hitting it both days and getting up with some folks I know,
plus bring my cars. It's a nice event, I am looking forward to this weekend.
