I have spoken to these sponsors, and all have agreed to roll their sponsorships over into 2014! Winner: $600 CASH. Pete Van Tholen is putting up 500.00 cash from his company TRUCK WORKS ,in Brookfield Illinis! BG Golf Carts is putting up $100 cash to the winner. Runner Up: $300 CASH from M and E Auto Body Repair. Dan Rocco and ADVANTAGE TRAILER in Carol Stream Illinois is throwing in 4 225/75/R15 load range E trailer tires, and a set of car tie-down straps! Thanks to these sponsors for their support!! While there are no written rules for the class, the below will explain what the class is about. 2014 GS Nationals GS Race Reunion (GSR) GSR is a GS/Skylark only class formed to combine the old GSE and GSP classes due to consistently low turnout in those classes. The class is for all old GSE and GSP cars no matter what configuration they are in now. Also welcome are all other GS's and Skylark’s that are more modified than would be allowed in BSA. Headers, aftermarket wheels, aftermarket blocks, racing seats, big carbs, nitrous, blowers, turbos, wild paint schemes, narrowed rears and tubs, fiberglass, multiple carbs etc. are all welcome. The rules are purposefully very loose to create car count. The format of running the class on a .400 pro tree, bracket style is exciting, creates close competition, and allows any performance level to compete. The driver is very much a part of the game. You get two qualifiers on race day, and your quickest ET is your dial in for ALL of eliminations, and breaking out isn't allowed.
The class is a go for 2014, so we need some participation. The sponsors agreed last year to roll their pledges over to 2014. Everyone who plans to run post here so we can get a head count. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.

If I remember correctly its pretty much just gotta be a 64 to 7? Buick bodied and buick powered dont remember there being a tire restriction, muffler restriction or much of any restrictions at all honestly ,maybe no power adders or sumthing and stockish interior . I may be way off thats just what I remember
Here are the "rules" Jim posted in September 2013 http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?273271-GSR-Class-2013-GS-Nationals "GSR was a GS class formed to combine the old GSE and GSP classes due to consistently low turnout in those classes.
