Not really a Buick event, BUT there were quite a few Buicks in attendance. I heard there were around 1,000 cars total and I think I snapped a photo of every Buick in the crowd. I drove my car to the event, but the door panels aren't on yet, so I didn't feel comfortable showing it. I was surprised with how few '70s era and how many '60s Buicks were there. I figured with the popularity of the '70-'72 body style there'd have been more than two on display.

There was one dramatic situation early in the day when a suped-up AAR 'Cuda 440 rolled down the hill and plowed right into the back of a heavily modified '69 Camaro. I saw it happen, but I was too far away to do anything. (Note that this was TWO CARS AWAY from Jim Shiels' immaculate '70 GSX Stage 1!!!!!!!) The 'Cuda owner wasn't around, but as far as I could tell it was handled in a gentlemanly way by both parties. Note to self, chock the wheels and/or use the e-brake when on a hill...
