Hey guys, I am selling 2 CZF (monte carlo SS, one of the best cores besides the coveted BRF) 200-4r transmissions. The first one is a complete transmission in unknown condition, I bought it with the intention of putting it into my 1986 Regal. It had clean fluid in it when I got it, no rust, no contamination in the pan and everything moves freely. Could be a very cheap way to an overdrive transmission. I am asking $250 for it but will consider any reasonable offer. The second transmission has been in my 72 Skylark for right around 10,000 miles. It was built for mild applications using parts from CK Performance. It has a Ck performance shift kit, large billet servo, hardened sunshell, 3 Clutch OD and a hardened 10 vane pump. I know it has more goodies into it but I don't have a parts list anymore. Unfortunately when I had this transmission built it had a stack shifting issue I never fixed. We had a gauge on it and checked line pressures and everything was within limits so the TV was adjusted correctly for the time I had the transmission. Since I intended to manually shift the transmission the stack shifting was never a major concern to me. 1-2 shift is very firm and even behind my stock motor it would chirp second. This transmission was setup for 1 wire lockup. Recently 3rd gear started to slip on me and now it has trouble engaging and holding 3rd. It is hard to tell the exact issue since I have a 2800rpm stall converter but since I wanted to beef up this transmission anyway the 3rd gear issue has just pushed me towards ordering a unit from Extreme Automatics. I'm passing this on to someone who does have the time to go through it, it could be a simple issue, if not the extra parts alone are well worth my asking price. I would like to get $500 for this unit. I have over $2000 into it. P.S. I do have a local post on Craigslist as well. I will prioritize any interest on the V8Buick boards if someone makes their interest apparent through a post. Unfortunately time is a concern so I have to use both avenues of sale.

Neither transmission comes with a.converter unfortunately. I wish I had a stock one around. Fred, I believe ill be in the Raleigh area, I plan on going down the 16th of may and returning to ny on Sunday. Art, I would like to avoid shipping because I have never felt with freight but if you can suggest a company that will provide proper shipping materials I would consider it. Not a problem Jay and barring any technical issues I hope to go for Buick day and musclepalooza. The trick is seeing how much work I can get done before then haha. Do you and Ken plan on going?
