    Hi my friends.
Thanks WormWood for supporting me,its obvious for us that american are really kind:beers2:
God bless US and its people.
And sorry silverbuick,i shouldnt have put my first post on your thread.
We loved american cars from childhood and although there were some problems,at last we decided to buy this Lark because we really dont like korean and japanese cars,
Our car is Sedan and has bench seat, its powered by 350 chevy small block and 4bbl Rochester carb,we repaired the engine with standard kit, repaired carb and fixed some rust, our original taillights(75-77 with small backups)were broken and they were changed with iranian one which are made in small factories but not as good as american one,i started a project in which i bought a pair of taillights from US and one of my friend sent them for me,but when i received them,i considered that one had a crack:af: we spent a whole day to fix it and it was successful and now its solid,i bought some hood ornaments from US which are really expensive here and there are chinese one too that are awfuly bad made,
Now we decide to fix some rust on floor and paint it well.
I will take some photo and put them here.
I saw real good cars here, like WormWoods,Silverbuick,...and others,
Im really happy that many american still follow their classic way of life.:TU:

    Hi my friends.

    Thank you all.

I will take some photo as soon as possible,
The price of per liter is 70 cent now,it was 10 cent 3 years ago which means every thing goes bad here, each dollar is 1000 toman now,32 years ago when shah was here each dollar was 7toman,and the price of per liter was very cheap:eek2: ,i dont remember .

I should learn non metric system :TU:

70 cents is quite a bit higher than I expected, roughly $2.70/gallon!

I had taken some photo when the old taillights were on it,they are like others but at night they are not attractive as original one,i decided to put them here, but one message appeared that told:i must put at least 10 posts here in order to attach links to my messages.

    Greeting.
I found a web site in which you can find used parts for cars,
I checked and there were some parts for 75-79 skylarks and other american cars,i guess most of you know about it,but i write it here, maybe it will be useful for some one.sorry(i cant attach link on my posts)

    Type:
    car-part.com

That website is used by junkyards to keep track of their supplies. The poor people over here use it all the time to find those really hard to find old parts.

About Iran,i can say that its great country but without this arab regime,
we are not originally muslim, islam came here 1400 years ago by arabs and they forced people to accept it,and still there are many iranian who dont accept it,when people are forced to do something, they never do it from their heart and thats the difference between iranian muslim and arabs.
We are originally Zoroaster and follow Zartosht(wikipedia has good info about it),we had great history before islam and Cyrus the great was the first king(shah) of iran, our language is Farsi(persian).
We are not people of north korea who support their stup...leader,and people who follow our gov are only 20 percent who are paid to it.
So i hate from all terrorists, radical arab and radical muslim,....

Nice Buick:beers2: Years ago I almost bought a same year Skylark 4-door except it was green inside and out. Passed on it for a '73 Cutlass as a daily driver.

Welcome to the v8 board. The internet allows communication on a much higher level. From what I've heard, Facebook fueled the uprisings in Libya, Yemen, and now Syria. Do you have free access to the internet in Iran? Power to the people!
