This video would probably have been better off not uploaded to YouTube. How the hell does that even complement the listing?
It doesn't complement the car but it does let a potential buy know that it has an issue. So in my eyes that's a good video. I want to know the bad stuff before going to see the car rather than travel to see it and be disappointed by the things that the seller "forgot" to mention in the written ad. I think that's happened to all of us in the past.
Car is in the $12000 range for a good buy, video and description doesn’t help it sell at all but that presents a low price and a good buy for someone!
I have to admit I like this car. It appears to be a whole car that is largely unmolested. "restorers dream" made me laugh out loud. I'm pretty sure that's when the car is sold. That rust hole pictured above seems like an odd spot to rust through? Is that a common area you guys see rust?
Itis caused by weatherstripping that has had the skin torn open then it holds moister, the door will do the same where it meets.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that there is supposed to be some weather stripping that fits into the chrome piece just above that hole, and covers the area where the hole is.
Whoever wrote that ad needs to drug down a gravel road at 50mph,...that's the stupidest horse **** I've ever read,....

Yes, the car sold. I paid more than I wanted but the 1 of 10 of that color, which is my favorite color, swayed me. NOM and trans and needs lots of work, I did like the way it was optioned. This one will get restored back to mostly original, I've already gotten a date correct carb(7042242), distributor(1112016), and 8 track player to go in it and a deposit placed on a new engine. The only option I wish it had and will debate replicating is E6, through bumper exhaust extensions/N-25. I'm even a fan of the body side moldings. After it gets cleaned up a bit and roadworthy so it can be registered and titled, the real fun begins.
