Michael, good to hear from you. A few notes on your old Sun Coupe. Surprise, Bobb leaned on a bit too hard and had to pull the motor for a rebuild. Going to go over in a couple of weeks and work on getting it put back in. I think we are putting an F1 on it and the D1 is going in Anthony's car. Also going to upgrade the FI to something from Holley. Hope your doing well and the T-type is coming along.
I love Sun Coupes , love the half roof/wrap around pinstripe the was the precursor to the Colonnade cars styling, I always wanted one.. there was a red beater running around the Hartford CT area back in the late 80's and I never could locate the owner, especially when I saw it in the rain with the top open in a park one day. I made a half hearted play for BrianinStLouis's maroon car back when it was for sale but I hesitated over the color being non-OEM.. if I could go back and kick myself!! But here's the car I REALLY want! It's a honest 70 Stage 1 with what looks to be a Cadillac style ASC power sunroof conversion, its been knocking around the CT area for probably 30 + years. I last saw it at Musclepalooza in 2017, talked to the owner for a while but didnt walk away with a clear understanding if this was done back in the day via special order or later during a restoration. Either way, I love this car !!
