    an open door:D

I shoot one coat of base or clear and let it sit to flash, and while that happens I crack a door open to slowly let the cloud out.

One of these days I'll be able to afford a booth.

When I first bought my house l used to do body and paint side jobs after work and I would do all the painting at night.

We are in a neighborhood of large wooded lots, and my neighbors know what I do...they occasionally request work done, so I have some leverage.

That's cool, I live one a street where the lots are 50 x 140 Little tight so when I make noise working on cars l close the garage door. When I fire up the stage 2 it's too bad ! The one number hates it.

I had to roll the car into the sun today. Man it pops!

Then it was time to start pulling the engine/trans. I got as far as the water pump and decided it would be easier to fight it off with the engine sitting in the car. Well, the timing cover was not happy either. Then 3 of the long bolts decided they would become one with the timing cover. This is the first timing cover I’ve had to destroy to remove. A thorough go-through of the cooling system is in order.

We had to destroy the cover on the '72 Electra to get it off too. Must be something about 1972's.....

Engine and trans are out after that timing cover fiasco. Hopefully it will warm up enough tomorrow that I can roll this out and power wash.

This is what happens when using a Fram filter. :)

Seriously, been there and done that with the cover. Dissimilar metal corrosion is a stinker.

    Thanks Tim!

Preliminary power wash of the front clip...will need a little scrapage, but not going crazy on detailing it. I felt my OCD kicking in and had to hit the brakes on disassembly.
