Does a GS work? https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1016017/1972-buick-skylark-for-sale-in-west-okoboji-iowa-51351 Not cheap. But seems like a nice car. https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1436293/1972-buick-gs-455-for-sale-in-columbia-tennessee-38401 Lttle more reasonable on the price side.
Hey, I'm new to the forum. Just started checking things out and saw your post. I have a 1972 Buick Skylark GS 455 custom motor and tranny. Built for street hopping or drag racing, legal. 600 hp. Needs to go to a good home. Let me know if you're interested. Located in San Diego. $30,000. Lee
One is a Stage1 and one is a GS455……. So I think they are both priced accordingly, although with some wiggle room added..
Oh, I'm aware. I've been paying a lot of attention to the 72 Stage market, and from what I see, I still see the Stage as expensive. Also my point was it depends on what the poster is looking for. Some guys say Skylark and they mean Skylark, not a basically top of the line Stage 1.
I'm not sure if you are looking for a finished car or a project? A friend sent me a link a few days ago that his friend has a Flame Orange '72 Skylark project car for sale in Alabama for $3k.
Not sure if you've found anything, and don't even know if this is flame orange, I purchased from a widow, and got it running again, and refurbished.... https://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/d/somers-1972-buick-skylark-similar-to/7350580242.html
