I’d be selling off my coin collection to get this one if it wasn’t stolen from me.

Beautiful car, best of luck with your sale!

Wow John, sorry that some weasel stole your coin collection.. That plain out sucks.

I not the biggest fan of the 71's front end or a fan of convertables but this triple white GS is a beauty.

This sold for $30k a few weeks ago its not # match car and may not even be a real 455 car

Is the grill correct? If I was at our place in Fla, I'd go see it. It is only about 20 mins away.

Grille is correct for 71 GS.

The YouTube links are legit...it's a shorthand link that YouTube uses.

I definitely wouldn't kick this car out of my garage...but I thought I would like the pearl white interior better than I do. Kind of clashes really.

Yea, I'm not crazy about the color combo either. My Burnished Cinnamon '71 convertible w/Pearl White interior & Sandalwood top I think will look much better. Unfortunately it's a long way off from the condition of this one.

Maybe the trim tag would help?

IIRC, all convertibles (even Skylarks) got the bars as did GS 455 in '70 and all '71-2 GS.

Looks like a quality restoration (wonder who did it?), but I am in agreement on the color combination not being a good one. Can't say I favor the spoiler much either.

Looking closer it is alot of white but I think the black dash and rug helps a bit.
I also could do without the spoiler, they just don't look right on a convertibles..

There's a triple white '72 Hardtop that was @ MCACN a few years ago and while it was still a LOT of white, all the '72's black accents helped a lot.

    Love the triple white.
Lose the Chevy shifter and the red plug wires though.

I still think adding the spoiler ruins the lines on these cars.

On the convertables or all 70-72's?
I did think the shifter knob and arm looked odd..
