Economy forces sale of great #3 driver with a huge list of replaced or rebuilt parts. Would love car to go to member instead of auction. I'm the 6th owner and have most of its history but no build sheet. Owned since 2012, qualified member helped me get this car as close to original within budget. I would not hesitate to drive her 500 miles now . Email me for pics, lists, receipts or details. Here is a little info; vin # 434671H137617, 455 auto on column, flame orange (SCO), perfect newer pearl interior and top. All new brake system, shocks, coil springs, control arms and bushings. Newer Gardner exhaust and Caruso tips for N-25. Rebuilt carb by Cliff's. So much more in last 8 years (6 years in Denver, 2 years now in Naples, Fl. Having issues uploading pics/too big & can't resize. I will email or text to interested parties. Looking for $75. Thanks, Mark ) 20180311_165745.jpg View attachment 486141

$75,000. For what it's worth, I've seen a pic of the original block with the TS stamp and matching VIN. Looks like an original "one of the 81" if everything is legit.

These are a few of the pics he emailed me. You can request others from the seller like I did.

Beautiful car! You may want to post a picture of the cowl tag. If you're not sure what that is, look under the hood on the driver's side just above the brake booster. This will tell potential buyers more about the car such as the build date and color codes.

$50-60k provided it has documentation, my opinion isn’t worth a nickel so keep that in mind.

Somebody clarify for me on the SCO 18 color, I have looked at all the various model charts and don’t find it anywhere, wouldn’t it have to be a color Buick offered even if only on a specific model of some type?

I believe it is a 71 zone car offering the new color the following year 72?

I don't think so. I seem to remember there were two Buicks painted in Chrysler colors so they could sit in a Buick dealers showroom across the street from a Dodge dealership.

And some painted Cadillac colors like the Riviera in the current Hemmings Muscle Machines.

good to know as i was always told there were only 5 flame orange in 71 and over the years I have seen a few 71 flame orange come for sale and they said the were zone cars in their descriptions

This is one of those cars that a build sheet or window sticker could potentially add huge value. The code 18 on the cowl tag has me stumped as well since there was no code 18 for any Buick colors in 1971.

In 1972, code 18 is Charcoal Mist.
