1970 Stage 1? Claims a 4 year restoration has made it correct in every way...

    Well, not a Stage 1 but apparently is a GS 455. Desert Gold & I believe F is a gold vinyl top (Edit: Brown per @Smartin below) which IIRC was discontinued part way through the year and Burnished Saddle buckets. 336647_588693152689774_Orig.jpg 336647_588693147947563_Orig.jpg

    F = dark brown top

    I emailed they guy back & told him it wasn't a Stage 1 & that my friend was coming by to look @ it so he's been primed. Hope I didn't take the fun out of it for you:). Surprised I didn't get a nasty email back but I still kinda made it seem like I was interested. Asked for pics of the engine & tranny VIN stamps. transgender.jpg

    On the other hand, the cowl tag looks in terrific condition. What's the "2" stamped on there for and are there two "1"s stamped on the other side of Body by Fischer?
