With the birth of my son, I'm needing to thin the heard a bit, so regrettably, I'm selling our 1970 SportWagon. It took me nearly a decade to find the "right" solid and straight '70 wagon in a color that wasn't brown/tan/green. This is a factory Gulfstream blue over medium blue with white painted top wagon. A 455 (if I recall correctly, it's got 1970 455 heads and might be a '70 block) was swapped in, along with a TH400 to replace the TH350. We had an FiTech fuel injection setup done for reliability. The EFI is honestly a game-changer. The wagon makes such good power, and the piece of mind with the data-screen and knowing exactly how it is running is really nice. This is also a factory AC car, but some of the system was missing when I got it. I installed a new compressor, but someone else needs to finish out the system if they want it. There's a few choices someone could make on the direction they take as far as the different valves and controls. This wagon was born and raised in Arizona. I bought it out of Missouri, where it had only been for a few years. This wagon is super solid, the fenders, doors, and quarters are really nice. At the very bottom edge of the rear 1/4s there is some rust along the lip, likely due to drainage from the rear windows. The rear window interior trims have rust as they always do, so some small details could be worked out on it over time. I had the bumpers rechromed (triple plated) a few weeks ago, they look spectacular. It’s also uncommon to find them with the full roof rack and rear wind deflector, which this wagon has as factory options – and really complete the look! The interior is nice and original, but I had the headliner redone as well as the rear cargo panels with the correct material. A set of Todd's rallye guages and a sport wheel would really round it out. If you’re looking for the ultimate musclecar that will also fit the family comfortably, this is it. $29,900 located in Austin, TX. No trades, I need to focus on the restoration of my '70 GS350 4sp.
