1970 Skylark - Buzzer and horn relay location

    Where is the buzzer and horn relay located? I relalize its underneath the dash, but where? Seems like it would be obvious, but I'm unable to locate it so far.

    You need to take out the glove box liner to see it mounted to the underside of the metal dash. It is up to the left of the glove box.

    Easier to go through the glove box

    My buzzer never worked.

    Assuming that everythnig is wired properly, where would the trouble likely be?

    Does the ignition lock mechanisim itself trigger the buzzer when the key is in the locked position? Or is there a switch/contact downstream of the ignition switch that triggers the buzzer when the key is left in the ignition?

    There is a plastic piece that has long contacts that slides into the column. Maybe someone has a picture. Sometime those are missing or broken.

    Thanks for the feedback. The problem is with the switch.
