I might be getting paranoid in my not so old age but does that trim tag in the add pictures look off to anyone? I've never seen with the letters not lined up and with different size letters and numbers. Sounds like people know him and know that it is a real car.
I recall that this same car was discussed here several years back. I think It may have been for sale off and one for several years.
car was only for sale one time back in the early 80's. i was late on that. other than that, it has never been for sale.
Yeah Pete new add deletes the stage 2 claim, just a regular old, run of the mill ,GSX with a 4 speed now!!!!!
The new link is the old original link, he just omitted the Stage 2 info and added a pic of the data plate.
Here's what I get when I click on it: "This posting has been deleted by its author." (The title on the listings page will be removed in just a few minutes.)
Yeah he pulled the add, I found it yesterday on the northwest Ct craigslist, just checked it now and it's gone!! Oh well. I'll make myself feel better and think how rusted out the thing was.... I hope!
anyone of you millionaires  that buys the car, i can pick it up and hold it until you come get it. it will cost you only a case of lithuanian kananoplis ale.
Why would anyone go to "check this car out", if you had no intention of buying it! It is rude to waste someones time, just so that you can justify to yourself that the GSX was not "worth" it because of this that or the other thing. Now I have no knowledge of the car or the seller, but it is WRONG to engage with someone who is trying to sell something, just to gather information, or photos. No matter its condition, it is still a rare desirable car. You can certainly debate its value, but if you are not in the market for a GSX, or do not have the money, you should not lie to this guy and say otherwise. I write this from first hand experience, selling a 1970 10-10 GSX.
Give me a break !!! We have a network of knowledgeable people that are willing to look at a Buick so as to evaluate it's authentisty for others who may be interested in said vehicle. This is how it works around here, deal with it !
