    Orig. Black interior too.

Another "Z" interior prefix for seemingly no reason although in the thread linked Pat said Black painted top wasn't recommended w/Sherwood Green?

I've read that it indicates a "non-recommended" color combo. But this is the internet, and may or may not be fake news.

I thought non-recommended interior but have read on that same internet thingy you refer to it could be for anything odd.

They have some interesting feedback ratings but then again it’s tough to make everyone happy

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

I remember seeing this car when Henry had it at the Nationals and it was beautiful. I hate that he had to sell it. Henry loved that car and spent a lot of $$ restoring it and making sure every part on it was the best he could find and purchase. I kind of liked the top being black it looked very different. Not sure I like the white painted top as much. Probably still a very nice Stage1

Ryan, if you look closer it is not painted it is a white vinyl top.

Ryan- I recall when he had it for sale on the board… if I remember correctly, wasn’t there a bunch of NOS spare parts that were included? And I think the price was extremely reasonable…? Henry got frustrated with the tire kickers and sold the parts separately… does that sound correct?

I think JC purchased the car and the parts.

Yup. And it was a mess. But I got it mostly straightened out.

Didn't he have that car restored ? I vaguely remember him complaining about how much it cost him.

I've had to sort out several restored cars recently. The last 10% of a restoration project should be making sure everything works and is correct. Many shops ship the car as soon as the last screw is tightened.

You should have seen me trying to get out of the showroom without incident at a used car dealer right down the street.
My buddy came scrambling over to my house and told me to hop in “There is a 70 STAGE 1 RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FOR SALE!”
I saw about 10 things wrong with it in under 2 minutes and saw their salesman strutting up to me chest all buffed out “Heyyyyyyyyy, whatcha think? Know what you are looking at there? That’s a RARE one there! A Stage 1!”
Told him I thanks but I wasn’t interested and he harassed me all the way to the door “Why….why…..WHY? it’s RARE AND FULLY RESTORED…….WHY? Just tell me!”
My buddy was like “ohhhhh……damn” as I released the exit door and faced the guy.
About 5 minutes later just hitting the obvious incorrect low hanging fruit the guy was just standing there with his mouth hanging open all bummed out.
As we exited my buddy walked by the salesman and told him “Hey, he tried to leave”:D:D
