Hi guys, I'm a Pontiac guy at heart (but Buicks have been my second passion), and was wondering if this was the correct place to post this.

I owned a 1970 GS455 back in 1982, gold with a black top, brown interior, that was all original (about 80,000 miles at the time). It had a few dents, a little rust, but I treated it with kid gloves and I loved the car. I was forced to decide between this car and my other car (1965 GTO), and chose the 65 GTO because it was straight as an arrow, no dents, no rust, so I opted for the Goat. Don't beat me up for this decision. :spank:

Anyway, I was wondering what may have happened to my old GS455. Back around 1984, I had information that the car was going to be restored, but as a GSX (long before the first Musclecar boom in the late 1980's). The car was in the western suburbs of Chicago (Lisle/Naperville area) after I sold it, but I never saw it again after 1984.

It had bucket seats, auto, cruise, power seat, a/c, tilt, power windows, road wheels, power door locks, and AM/FM stereo.

With the internet connecting all the Buick owners, just wondering if anyone knew of this car. I still have some vintage 1982 photos.

    Thanks!
