1970 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 for sale. I have owned this car for almost a year and have decided it is not really the car for me.. Just goes too fast for me... Thought I needed a go fast muscle car and now realize I am too old for this and need a modern car. Don't have time or storage for this beauty. Great car! Lots of fun!

    About the car:

1970 GS 455 Stage 1 - (VIN 446370H260228) *GS Historical Society, Stage 1 Registry Documented
455 (Replacement Engine 1972 Block), 1970 heads and intake. (Unknown when this was done)
BB code TH400 Transmission - this is numbers matching
    Air Conditioning
    Bucket Seats Console Shift
    Saddle vinyl top
    Power Disk Brakes
Rear end is a 12 bolt chev posi, with Toms axles, with Hotchkiss links
    Over the last year :
New 14" Cooper Cobra 225/75/14 radials
New master cylinder, booster, proportioning valve, pads, shoes - Stops fantastic!
Serviced the A/C - Blows ice cold!

    Vehicle known history:
This car was in Japan in the early 2000's and was re-imported back to the US in 2005 by Mike Mullen. Car was delivered to Mike Garrison Restorations and was soda blasted and repainted to the beautiful Arctic White. This is straight as an arrow and absolutely no rust. All original sheet metal with the exception of the right rear due to previous accident damage. Mike Mullen drove it very little over the years and I have put about 600 miles on it this year

This is a beautiful no rust car with a great history. I have enjoyed it, it is just not the right fit for me right now.
    $43,000 SOLD 1/23/23

I hate you! That is what we were looking for to begin with. After several failed inspections We... should I say I got the Stage 1. She is definately not a fan of the car and we always talked about a convertable.. She keeps mentioning a corvette. So you know how it goes. Gee I am going to have to find a corvette. Darn! I have enjoyed the car and now it is time to let someone else enjoy it too. Not looking to make any money, selling for what I bought it for.

There is one that a local consignment place has here that might foot the bill if you like mine. Streetside Nashville. They have a red 70 455 Conv. I don’t mine looking at it for you if it’s what your looking for BBC

If it is the one I think it is, then it is one of the ones we passed on after the inspection... enough said. I have followed it to several dealerships.. caution is the word.

Curiousity, why not look for a 350 car? 45ish gets you a hell of a 350 vert, likely with cash left over. Sure it isnt a Stage but it would probably still be fun.

The patches and bondo along with the paint blisters and pinholes concerned me. The drivetrain looked ok though. I just didn't want to deal with the $$ for bodywork.

Are you sure this is the same car? I looked at the pictures pretty close and saw a couple chips but nothing major. Maybe your eyes are better than mine

I had it inspected. The inspector was very thorough and I was not happy once I read the report. I had made an offer on it. I may be too picky.
    Everyone has their opinion quality.

When Tom had it he was pretty happy with the quality and he's SUPER picky so I'm willing to bet 99% of us would be ecstatic to own it..and I dont think this car made the dealership rounds.. I think it went from private owner to private owner for the last xx years
