I do believe a member here used to own it, there's a thread already started about this car a couple months ago. Great color combination and options hopefully it brings a good number.
BYoung on this board formerly owned the car. There’s a little discussion about it here: http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?threads/1970-gs455-thoughts.363369/
Very good - Forgot about that. Will be interesting to see what it brings. Normally I'd say it wouldn't bring what the seller is currently asking ($49k) but considering Joe's was bid up to $55k @ Vegas and this is arguably a more desirable color & bucket seat/console maybe it'll go well. Based on that thread and the pics it appears to be a pretty darn nice example.
Wow! think this could be one of the first times I have seen a car for sale lead where every one is in agreement that its a correct and nice car. I do enjoy the critiques, educates me on what is not correct with some cars for sale and also values. I do like this car and hope it does well.
I was going to go look at this car in Virginia a couple of months ago and I asked if I could drive it and the dealer said yes. A couple days later they said that one of the brake cylinders was leaking bad so don't make the drive until we fix it . They told me they were going to fix it and call me back as soon as it done. I never heard back from them... hmmmm .
Yes - I am assuming they made that decision a couple months ago to send it to auction.... this car has been sitting idle for some time, not saying it's a bad car but just might need some TLC and there is really no true inspection at an auction
I was afraid the car may have a few issues due to sitting for so long. No telling when it was last cranked up and moved around.
