This is neat car. A few of the things that I like about it are the white interior, factory installed tach (although it appears that someone has replaced the domed lens with a flat lens), the standard batwing steering wheel (which was not used on the big block cars in 1970), and that it's still riding on the painted PA6 Super Sport wheels.

Hopefully the comments section of Bring A Trailer (a true peanut gallery often filled with people commenting about cars they know little or nothing about and passing along misinformation) will not rip it apart too much due to the rusted areas.

Is the seller a member of V8Buick.com?

09D! Very early build, and H is supposed to be a Dark Gold vinyl top. Dark Gold tops were discontinued around January.
    I like that car.

It was for sale on the board around November/December 2021 by the current owner. If I recall correctly, is was maybe in the neighborhood of $20,000 asking.... The ad is gone, and I only have a few messages in my PM's.

Honestly, if it was under $10,000, or closer to $7000, I would have bought it...

Exactly, that's not a restoration candidate,...just leave what's there alone and enjoy it as is for what it is,..they all all don't have to be show pieces

    Just character is all

I have a sneaking suspicion this car is going to bid in the 7 to 10K range (if it can even break 7K) on BAT……….

I would've been a player if life wasn't in the way. Whittling down to just ONE (1) car for the near future.

Exactly true. Not every car has to be a show piece and not every car has to be fast. I wish I could have learned those lessons at an earlier age.

    I'll guess $7500-8500 & reserve not met.

Rust could be a lot worse but hard to know what's lurking under that top. Interesting that the air cleaner decal is '71-2.

Agree - The wheels, batwing, & factory tach are neat as are the colors. Also nice w/o the trunk mldg since also was std. on GS 455.

Orig. Gold top? Sure is odd about the tach lens.

10,900 (+buyers fee) - Reserve not met. All the $ & then some IMHO. Screenshot_20220720-164006_Chrome.jpg
