Sent out a bunch of mat the other day. Last 5 orders leaving today. Just for the record, this was way more work than I anticipated! Next batch of blanks I might just bring to the Nats and bypass shipping them
The mats just came, Jason and they look GREAT! They are thicker and glossier than I was expecting them to be. A couple quick things to note. One end cap was gone when these arrived, and they did not come far. They arrived in great shape anyways. But, you may want to think about taping around that cap(s) if mailing more of them. The second thing was getting them out of the tube, I ordered 3 pair, and they were very tight in the tube. I figured out if you put a couple fingers in the center and wound them even tighter, you could get them out ok. The final thing is I recommend you immediately take them out of the tube and lay them upside down flat. They flatten right out nicely, but this is not an item you want to keep in the tube unopened until BG or MCACN next year figuring they will be safe in the tube. That's it! On a 1-10 scale I give them a 10! Thanks Jason!
Got mine! Very cool. My floor looks and smells like someone killed a goat on it so this should help. Thanks Jason nice work. Any other ideas for disposing of income just let me know.
Ok, last of the mat shipped out this morning I taped up all the ends this time! Im going to bring a bunch of "blanks" with no dealer imprint to the nats. Probably going to bring 100 with me. You think that'll be enough?
Jason, look for the shipping tubes that have the crimped ends that open and can be closed again. I have shipped 100's of posters in them without any issues. I also only ship them via USPS and it costs around $4.80 for first class. Not sure if you could ship them USPS Media rate cheaper. Actually Mike, the tubes Jason used are really strong. They are much stronger than what I used to ship stuff in. The same with the caps, the caps fit really nice and tight. I think they are 3M tubes, not cheap ones like I used before. I think it's the shipper, because I could see on the end of my tube it looked like they ran it over or something, there were tracks on it. But the mats were fine. Nobody is really taking any pride in their work right now. That's what it seems like. Not talking about you Jason, I know you didn't run them over!
A few went out FedEx...but I switched to usps. They were alot cheaper. The first few I didn't tape the ends because the caps fit so darn tight. I thought to myself, these caps will never come off in shipping
Got mine in mail today Jason They look bitchin I'll pull out the ol GS Saturday and post a picture Thanks again bro
Just an FYI.....USPS website tracking sucks. I tracked Brett's mats last night and it said "label created". I sent the last batch out a week ago today priority. I almost had an anxiety attack. This morning it says "delivered"
Things don't seem to be getting better at the post office. I was hopeful we'd be out of the woods in terms of undependable shipping with them but I guess I was way off.
The post office is touch and go these days but I think anyone could have a gripe with any of these shipping companies over the last year. That said....
