I need the bracket that mounts to the clutch pedal with 1 screw that activates the clutch switch ? Anybody have one or a lead? I posted on u shift em for best chance of response. Todd at stage 1 can’t help, kleiner may have made it? Thanks gregg
Yes that is the part l need in the last pic on eBay add , it is the bracket with the large oblong hole on clutch pedal held by one screw but not 500 dollar investment for it thanks for posting the add.
Is the part in question metal or hard plastic? Seems like it could be a good piece for the 3D printer people to make or another Mike Garrison special. Another one of those parts you never realized you needed until you saw it was reproduced. I wonder if Ames Pontiac carries them?
I might need one or 2. Looks like it's present on my 350 4-sp. Not sure on the Stage 1 4-sp. Probably should've grabbed the one out of the '68 I just sold.
It's Metal and would be pretty easy to replicate. I honestly don't know if any other Brand used this exact set up other than Buick. I've never seen them in the Ames Catalogs . . . I would purchase a few if someone could reproduce them!
This bracket is metal with a part number stamped on it. There is 1 bolt that attaches it to the pedal. It IS used in both SBB and BBB (including Stage 1's). I have looked at other A body's in GM's line up and no one else uses them.
I'm hoping to have a batch of them next week. Thank you to George for Loaning me one. . . . I don't expect to set the world on fire with these but if someone needs one I'll have a small batch soon.
Our batch is "in the works" but yes, it was computer scanned and then laser cut so it should be exact and we plan to have the "jog" in it. . . . .
