The Purple Skylark in my avatar.
I've owned this car for quite some time and brought it back from the dead.
Motor 350 has been rebuilt 1971 engine, aluminum intake, edelbrock carburetor, RV cam and dual exhaust.
350 turbo trans automatic, leaks a little but works great. I can tell there is a shift kit in it. Motor runs strong.
The rear end is from a 72 Skylark and is a posi, 3:42 if I had to guess. The fenders are rust free and the doors are solid except some surface rust on the corner of the passenger door. Blinkers and lights work. Steering wheel is a 19 inch wheel.
The front end was taken apart and cleaned and painted when the engine was redone. New front end suspension was put in as well. New brake pads and all 4 drums turned.
Trunk pan is decent, filled a few pin holes with epoxy. Aftermarket battery tray, solid radiator support (previously welded on), radiator was serviced when the motor was installed.

What it needs: new interior, the mice got into it bad last winter in Colorado. It is original to the car and was crusty. I have the back seat ( not pictured).
Oil pressure and water temperature gauges work. Needs emergency brake installed. There is a bushing popping up front. A arm.
Needs a front windshield, rear glass needs to be resealed. Needs rubber seals around windows, (original).
No radio. Blower works with heat but the a/c was removed when I got the car. I have several compressors if you want one.
Needs tires, rust in the rear passenger quarter, the passenger floor board is rusted through ( the car had a right front flat tire and the floor board was on the ground for about 8 years ) needs replaced. Paint and bumpers rechromed.
For a Missouri/ Illinois car , it has minimal rust. I think it was probably in a garage most of its life.

$6900 or best offer. price drop

Hard to believe not much action on this very solid car.... Giving this a couple weeks then....

    SOLD
