Hi! This is on the "Trim-Tag": C50,B90,B80,V7,8L,77, and M31. Anybody with skills that can decode? Thanks Chatarina.

C50 is rear defrost, B90 and B80 are bright trim around the window frame and roof rail, and M31 looks like the 2 speed transmission. I think the only 2 speed was behind the Chevy-sourced straight six, so I’m guessing you have a post coupe with straight six and ‘powerglide’. I don’t see reference to V7, 8L or 77.

Edit: As per the other thread, the M31 could be the ST300, possibly behind the L77 350.

Hi Patrick! Could V7 be the Rally Wheel w/o crome(silver paint)? The car is a 1969 Special De Luxe 4-dr Sedan(EXLD)

    No 2-speed in 1969 behind a 350. In that case a M38.

Well, the assembly manual does show it early on-what’s the build date on that car?

EX=export, LD is possibly an export engine code. Looks like a 4B build date. 8 before the L77 could mean v8.

EXLD= Export Left Hand Drive. The transmission M31 is likely a TH250(3-speed) for a 6-cyl. M38(TH350) was for the 350 engine.
