Thanks! I agree- I am pretty amazed at the transformation of how it was found to where we are at today. I am chasing some under dash electrical/ ground issues. Once those are found, I’ll get the DS seat in, the consolette squared away, and that will wrap up the interior.
I need to connect the feed fuel line from the tank to the pump, seal the rear window, and get some tail pipe extensions. That will then be that!

    Trunk complete.
Drivers side seat, steering wheel, and headrests tomorrow. I believe that completes the interior. Test drive ,through the neighborhood, tomorrow
Rear Window hopefully will be sealed Wednesday.
Still need to get some headlights, replace front directional, bolt up the horns, exhaust extensions…

Your trunk seal is in backwards. It should face out.

    Maiden voyage!!!

Took it around the neighborhood briefly yesterday… and then a longer neighborhood drive with Dyl. Shifted through all 4 gears flawlessly! No clutch chatter.
    Brakes are super touchy.
Need to get an overflow container

    Needs to be timed
There’s something wrong with the carb gasket.

Nice George, that interior is awesome!

Did you have to redye the console or other plastics? Just wondering what you used, if so. My interior is the same color and some of the plastics need some color help.

There’s no aftermarket supplier of that color for the interior parts. The carpet is much lighter than the original, which is goldish in color. I much prefer the color of the carpet I bought.

The consolette I painted. I feel it is a close color match.

I like the faded “patina” of my original plastics… however, IF you feel the consolette is a close/ very close shade, I would use that and adhesion promoter and paint ALL of the plastics.. I will post a picture of the paint I used. I would then spray a matte clear over it, as the paint is flat…
