I was looking for 4 speed stuff but is a non consolette,bench seat 4 speed (pretty rare) but of course trans & carb and all associated manual trans parts are gone. He is gonna check if it at least has a posi but here are the pictures of the car. Could be Skylark, GS hood and trunk trim missing, no GS emblems on door panels. It has the correct black door lock knobs though.
Okay, just had a long talk with the owner and decoded the VIN & partial of cowl. This is a 68 GS-400, non air 4 speed,built in the Wilmington plant and was originally yellow. No title. Due to the marital situation he needs to move on this car as well as the 69 SportWagon & 86 LeSabre Grand National (1 of 117) . Both those cars are listed in other car lead ads. He now is going to be parting the 68 out as there has not been a buyer for the whole car: I know he has buyers on the rear-end,clutch fork (carb & distributor are gone) and buyers on pedals and any linkage. GS hood and deck-lid were swapped out in the past but has bumpers,clean,glass and maybe so other things I am not thinking about so call him for specifics.
Very cool car in its day. I wonder whats left of the chassis floors.. maybe have it soda blasted and see what is left?
