Just wondering, are 1968-1972 rear axle widths all the same? Thinking of changing my wheel set up again. My car has a rebuilt 10-Bolt BOP with 3:42 Gears and Posi. Not sure what year exactly. 0B280FF2-C170-4FA6-BF1F-F9FF8FD8C882.jpeg

The rear in the picture is a 71-72 8.5” 10-bolt.
Yes.ALL of the A-body rears were the same width for 68-72. The BOP rears also had that same wider width for 66-67. Chevy didn’t start until 1968.

Ditto. 60 " for early rears and 61" for later a body rears
Be careful swapping the 8.5 rear out...YOU will need drive shaft length mods depending on if your installing or removing and replacing with anything other than 8.5.
I know your know changing the rear you have...Just getting the info out ...just in case it is needed.

I still have some. It’s been quiet since September, but just this week,I’ve had 3 different people inquire for those bearings.

I see you have rear disc brakes. That will add a little more overall width because the rotor hats are thicker than drums,so that will also allow you to get a little more backspace to bring the wheel back in,under the car.
