Has anybody painted these bases the body color? I'm just wondering what that would look like, with the blue exterior, black interior door panels, black arm rest pad, but a matching blue on the plastic (used to be ) chromed base. If anyone has, might you share a pic? It may look great, however it may also look cheap, but until done, I dunno. Thanks
I've seen them painted to match the interior, never the exterior. Can't say i'm a fan of either concept. I painted a set with chrome spray when I first got my car and they looked halfway decent until I replaced them with some "rechromed" ones.
Thanks Nick. I'm asking opinions. Some things can seem ok in your mind, and look like something they threw together on pimp my ride. I guess as I'm glueing and repairing these damn bases I'm thinking about the end and just considered it. I have 4 bases so I may rattle can two and just dummy it up.
