I am parting out two different cars. First the GS400 Hardtop. Dark blue outside, medium blue interior. It is a column shift auto, bucket seat car with A/C. It has Soft Ray glass all around, windshield is broken. No posi rear, will figure out ratio if anyone is interested. Radiator is correct, needs core. No fan shroud. Grille is decent, will need some repairs. Rear bumper is junk, front would be a decent core. This car is very rusty! All the body panels are rusty at the bottom, frame is junk, trans cross member needs repairs on the ends, otherwise ok. Trunk lid is rusted, hood is real straight, could be used, but needs a little bit of rust repair. The car is very straight overall, and the upper panels would be good for repairs. Roof is good. All the outside cast trim is pitted to one extent or another, some would be suitable for a driver car. The stainless trim is pretty nice throughout. Has front and rear wheel opening moldings. The seats are now gone, but I have a set of 67 front buckets available. A/C dash looks good, front and rear door panels will clean up for a decent driver. GS400 emblems are nice! I got the car running today. Engine sounds very good and is complete, appears to be original and correct. No lifter or valve clatter, no rod or main noise, no exhaust smoke, runs on all eight cylinders. Carb is missing the little aluminum disc that has the number stamped on it, but appears to be a 67 carb and has correct linkage and choke hookups. This carb flooded over so I put another one on to get the engine going. Trans is a 1967 ST400 code BA and runs forward and reverse and shifts gears on the lift. Fluid is red and smells normal. Car is not drive-able so I can't tell more than that. I am picking some parts off this car for my restoration. So far I know I am using the Cooling fan and clutch, A/C compressor, possibly some other A/C parts. The dash pad is not available unless you have an equal quality black one to trade. Also, I would like to use the Soft ray glass for my car, but I need the rear quarter windows for a convertible. Perhaps someone here has those? If not, I could be convinced to sell the hardtop glass as a set. 1967 Skylark Convertible. This car has a 300 2bbl with a ST300 trans. It is red with a white (Lt fawn) interior. Bench seat, column shift, P/S, not much else. Car is rusty, frame is junk, engine is apart, heads and intake are missing. Top frame and linkages and good, will need painting. Please post interest here first, then contact me. I know there will be strong interest in some of these parts so I want to keep it clean and simple. Per the thread that slamjob started regarding the hardtop, there are a few people in line for a few parts. I will be contacting them regarding their interests before releasing the parts they inquired about. Here's what I have so far, 67SkylarkVert Grill Rear Wheel well moldings hood scoops front buckets chucknixon A/C dash outlets sodak65 SP400 gokitty radio antenna if it's for an am/fm steering wheel driver's side remote rear view window set up flippermtc battery tray Upper peak Or belt reveal trim. Someone expressed interest in the underhood A/C parts but I am unable to locate that request. Please get back to me on that. That's all I can think of for now.If I missed anyone else, please contact me asap to get on the list. Please be patient, as it may take a few days for me to respond due to my schedule. I can ship big and heavy items, but be advised that LTL shipping is expensive, please consider the cost before getting in line on big stuff. Local pickup is always welcome.
Tom,if the heater control plate(vertical plate with screw fasteners top and bottom) is good on either car(no cracks in plastic or pitting), I could use this part. Thanks! Archie
First in line for the GS rear wheel trim, door panel emblems, hood scoops, star wars air cleaner and deck lid trim if decent.
Is the '67 GS a California car by any chance? I am looking for some parts that only came on California cars. I would also be interested in the softray glass if you decide to sell it.
I am planning on sending photos and replies to all the PM's I have received over the weekend. Thanks for your interest and patience.
Tom- I need an instrument cluster lens for my car. There are a couple deep scratches on mine that wouldn't polish out. What kind of shape are the instrument cluster lens on your cars in, and could you make one of them available? Thanks.
The metal is in nice condition, vinyl is very good for the age, driver quality if you can use this color. $50 plus the ride Which dash knobs are you looking for? No good on the fender you asked about
