Found this stored in a old Train car near me in Arizona. Complete 1967 2 door post, old man thinks it’s a 430 motor but rest is as born, 3:42 posi, 400 tranny, air con, buckets, tach in console, slotted factory wheels with little center Buick caps, interior looked intact and could pass for the mileage being correct at 68,00o, not wrecked not dented next to no rust anywhere life-long Arizona car and could be original paint, covered in 20 years of dust. Grill is cracked a lot is only thing really stands out.

I have no idea as to value??????

Please feel free to discuss the good and the bad !!!!!

    Hi,

    3.42 is a 8.5 gear, 67 should have a 8.2 BOP 10 bolt with one of the following ratios if stock 3.08, 3.23, 3.36, 3.55, 3.73, 3.90 or 4.30

A 400 or 430/455 will look the same from the outside, check engine codes

    Neat find either way

    Regards,

I believe you totally, I am a 1970-74 guy and couldn’t crawl around this car due to the cramped space and the guy is going off memory, could easily be the 3:36 ratio

Wow, nice find! Lots of options on this one AC, AM/FM, tilt wheel, power windows, buckets, console w/tach, accessory switch is there possibly for a rear defogger and it should have disc brakes if those wheels are original. I don't think the paint is original because the pin-stripes are not present and the window moldings and hood letters are not there. Dash pad is also missing. If it's a life long Arizona car with no rust it should bring a decent buck, i'd guess 8-10K.

Those missing trim pieces are n the back seat and the pin stripes could be there the dust is super thick and I didn’t want to disturb it too much, I did wipe the tip of the hood to look at color, but the letters on the hood could be a sign you’re right.

Did you happen to look in the trunk? I'm just wondering if the original fan blade, shroud and trim rings are in there?

I didn’t see in the trunk because it was dark and was pushed up against the back wall.

Another reason probably not original paint is the cowl data plate shows S-2 which = Champagne w/ Black vinyl top

The tires are gawners, of course, but the guy took the time to 3 point block the car up when stored. Kripes, an hour with a pressure washer and you could be having a blast. ws

Yes the black vinyl top was removed but not repainted or replaced as of yet. Trim was inside. There was no rust on bottoms of fenders or the quarters or doors.

WOW! Even a blind dog finds a bone every now and then! This is an exciting find. If the prospects hidden under the "barn" dust pan out,I nominate this as the "find of the year"!

I'd love to be the privileged one who gets to clean this car up.
It would be like Christmas Morning as each layer came off to reveal the goodies hiding beneath! ;)

    Really loving this car!!
