Kind of interesting being a base Wildcat with buckets and console although if a Canadian car from new they often had some strange combinations not always the same choices as US cars. If it is as decent as it looks and could be driven home, the price is certainly interesting(5800 US).

There used to be a board member that lived up there, wonder if it's his. Haven't seen or heard from him in a while. Just trying to remember his handle...it'll come to me...

If it has headrests would it also have passenger reclining bucket seat? Tom

Judging by the location on the map, I'd say it is one of our member's cars. This gentleman last posted about a year ago, and he had a 66 Cat convertible. He set up a hotel in the middle of nowhere if I remember right. I think I figured out the name, but I don't think it'd be right to post it, just in case it's not him.

I've made a deal on this car and will be sending a deposit today or on Monday. The member that owned the motel and food truck was the last owner and the seller purchased it from him but does not have the time to do the car so he is letting it go.Seller has agreed to bring it into northern Michigan where I will have a friend or a transporter pick it up for me.

Congratulations! I think you will end up with a pretty unique ride with some pretty rare options. Did you ask if the passenger seat reclines? Glad it's heading out of the wilderness to civilization!

Nice to see you finally got your convertible Briz; it looks like you made a great score! Funny that it's another Canadian car, and a 66 to boot; congratulations!

Yes. Seller said he would deliver it across the boarder with the proper paper work. Still unsure how Im going to get it from there to lower Michigan then to Florida.
He opened a paypal account to receive funds. The bal I'll put into a cashiers check.

Well, Michigan to Florida is bugger all, what is it, about 2 days driving? :)
If the car runs, it should be able to do the trip without too much trouble. I've driven worse junk over longer distances, it's amazing what a car and an iron will or sheer ignorance can do. Admittedly, I was about 30 years younger and indestructible then.
Still, if the points were Ok and the fuel system intact, I'd try it...
