Today I took my vent windows apart. Mine are in decent shape however the right side horizontal channel under the vent window is pretty much rusted. these are basically riveted in. If anyone has anything that could help me out let me know. Thanks JimL
'64-'65 & '66-'67 are different, to best of my knowledge. (for 2 dr H.T. and convertible) Hollander shows different # for Wing window glass. Windshield #'s are also different for 2 dr H.T. and convertible, '64-'65 and '66-'67. Also have a pair of '66-'67 Wing window assemblies, from a 59,xxx mile '66 Cutlass, but then again, one year too late.
You might try "Regulator Roy" in New Jersey. There are other specialists also, in Hemmings, if you can't source anything here. Finally there is Divisional crossover, so BOPC parts from a '64 - '65 2 dr H.T / convertible car should interchange. A '64 - '65 FOUR door H.T. may also work, if there is such a bird. Guessing also, that Post/sedan/wagon/El Camino parts are shorter.
There's a 64/65 Tempest in a salvage yard by me. The body (what is left) is pretty solid. It has the doors. It's a 4-door, so don't know if the parts you are looking for are identical or not. I'm thinking about taking the cowl from it (it was an A/C cowl), but I don't want/need the doors. I can't guarantee anything on the doors because I wasn't every looking into them though.
Thanks for the info guys. I was wondering if 64-'65 & '66-'67 were different. Close by there is a 66 Skylark in a savage yard. Mine is border line usable but we are always looking for something better when we're this far into a project.
