I saw a '65 Riviera with a sunroof. It looks totally professional if installed aftermarket. The panel is the color of the car and the inside has matching headliner...and it slides back into the rear part of the roof! Seems too fancy for an aftermarket system. I know some Buicks came with a "California" package in the later 60's and some of them had sunroofs that pealed back or whatever...did Riviera have that? I did not see the switch for the roof so that could be a dead giveaway. If its a simple JC Whitney toggle switch.. its after market. Thanks

I believe the first sunroof, or moonroof if you prefer, was first offered as a 'factory option' on the '72 Riviera.
The '65 did not have that option available, so the one you seen was probably an after market custom instal. :Do No:

Thats a shame if its not even a dealer thing. Well...it could always be welded shut I would think.
