I have been communicating with Wheelz for the last week on the 2-65 rivs..He has been very helpful with pictures :kodak: of both cars and lots of helpful comments about the cars.I have presented him a reasonable offer on both cars.If he does not accept my offer maybe someone else can work a deal out with him -It has been a PLEASURE dealing with Dennis Later Mike L:laugh:

 

Wheelz, is this older fellow the Buick guy in St Pete that has/had a pool supply place? Those cars sure look familiar to me.

Guys..I met Mike today! He drove all-the-way-down here, from the Buick Nat's in BG to look over these cars...he and I chatted while dangling our feet in the warm sunny pool for over 2 hours..he is a nice guy with a ton of good and fun stories!! Anyway, these Rivieras require a little more work than Mike is was hoping to invest. He has 5 or 6 GS projects in various stages of restoration as we speak!! So, as of now, they are back on the market. As they stand, the BLACK 65 GS Riviera is available for $7400 and the silver 65 Riviera, GS is available for $3500. Remember...THESE CARS ARE BOTH NUMBERS MATCHING 425 2x4 vehicles!!! The Black GS runs/drives but needs brake work and other stuff....the Silver GS is your basic "restoration project gave up on" and is all there, but needs a total restoration. I will probably list these cars on eBay auction Sunday. SO IF you are interested, lets talk before then, OK?!. Wheelz, Tampa Bay

Hi Paul...please go back and read post #21...while the chassis appears quite solid, there are some rust issues on the floor/floor braces & along the rocker area. Trunk drops look solid. This car appears nice as a driver, but there was a little more rust than Mike wanted to contend with....especially since he already has 5-6 frame off restorations going on all at this time.
