1965 full size convertible. Someones abandoned project, good doors, front fenders and hood have been cleaned up and primered, fenders and hood may? be from another car. Body has some cancer, appears to be from somewhere else - a lot of the chrome and potmetal pieces loose inside the car do have pits. Convertible top framework appears nearly or complete. Has complete driveline and a two piece driveshaft under car. Engine Size and family unknown. Auto Trans. Non A/C. Fenders $200 ea Doors $200 ea Hood $250 Will sell whole thing for any reasonable offer somewhere above current ferrous scrap price - will need to consult with Yard Owner on any price for whole car. Located just north of Las Cruces NM, off Exit 9, I-25.

66electrafied Just tossing in my nickel's worth

Engine looks like a standard 401 with the turbo-hydramatic transmission. It's a nailhead...

Too bad the car is weathered, I might have gone for a couple of bits, but they aren't the right colour and probably sun-bleached to h--l.

It's too bad the car is a standard 65 Electra, if it was a 57-60 full-size Chrysler product or something as equally ugly as that it would have been snapped up already completely rebuilt on a rotisserie and run across a BJ auction.

Thanks for the positive ID on the engine, it is a bit old for me to quickly know what it is. The trim is not that good, although there are some very good pieces here, and the top mechanism seems complete. Would like to see it go whole, yard owner whould probably take around $500 - $600 cash for whole car as it weighs close to 2 tons i imagine.

Hello from Georgia, I need a lost part.. I need the ring below the steering wheel. the turn signal lever goes thru this one. May even take the wheel if that is what it takes. I have a 65 Buick Skylark convertible and I am not sure but looks like the same steering wheel. On this my first frame off I did a bad job of keeping tract of parts....so now I am trying to locate elsewhere these parts I cannot find. Do you have working lift cylinders and pump assembly for the convertible top? I didn't loose these just need to replace. Also need several other smaller generic parts. Please advise availability and cost of the two listed items, if you have time. Thanks

ok - this is for a skylark, not a full size?
i really don't know if the parts interchange.
by ring below the steering wheel - do you mean the collar that is part of the steering column??

I need the two chrome interior A-pillar trim pieces that run from the dash to the roof line.
Let me know if those are still available, and how much shipped to Summerville, SC 29485.
    Thanks! IMG_1596.jpg
