I finally dug out the frame and found the rear wheels to be locked up. I was able to get the drivers side drum off and removed the shoes, now it's freed up. I haven't gotten to the passenger side yet but I'm guessing that will free up just as well. It appears to be very straight and solid. The come-along in the picture was only used to pull it away from the shelter, not to repair anything. I don't see many of these for sale other than from the speed guys who redo them for major dollars. As you can see in the photos it looks like it's in very good shape. I just need it gone so I'm putting $300 on it or best offer, or I would take a working 200-4R transmission in trade. Central Michigan area for pickup only.
That's cheap for a frame as nice as that. If you posted that 6 years ago I would have taken it in a heartbeat. GLWS
I have the same frame for sale, Been that way for a couple years. get a few people looking but no buyers. same price as yours.
Boxed frames sell fast. The open ones are a hard sell. I only sold 2 of the open frames on cars I parted. The rest I cut up for scrap. Each one I got $300 for. One was rolling and 1 was bare. The bare one I sold on Ebay the other which was rolling was local. If you haven't already list it on FB marketplace.
SOLD SOLD SOLD!!! That's a relief. A guy with a '65 Cutlass base model bought it for my asking price. Gotta be patient sometimes. If anyone else has one there is a guy in Harrison MI that needs one too. The guy wasn't a member here but I appreciate the comments from everyone.
