I Picked this car up a couple weeks ago. I was with a friend of mine that bought it last year and at the time I told him if he ever decided he would like to sell it I would be interested. We did a little trading and I got it. It was purchased in Eugene Oregon new and the original owner drove it for ten years the took it back to the same dealership he bought it and traded it in. The owner of the dealership recognized the condition of the vehicle and put it right into his private collection. There it sat until a couple years ago. When I brought it home it had 15,777.3 miles. It even had the original tires in the trunk...:Brow:

Nothing quite like a low mileage original car!

Very nice indeed. I think that is one of the best looking full size Pontiacs they ever made. Mike D.

Thanks everyone for the complements. The color is Sunfire Red. The car has 30 some options and I have the original window sticker as well.

I had one in high school. Loved the car 3 on the tree and a 389. It was a bootleggers car before I got it. He ran whiskey and smokes in the south.

I was gonna say it looks really well optioned just from what I could see in the pics. I can see why you wanted it.

Seems like all the nice original low mileage cars are 4 doors with no options......but not that one!

Is it road ready or do you need to go through the normal normal maintenance process?

Yes it is road worthy. My wife and I took it for a 140 drive the Sunday after I brought it home. Everything works perfect. The AC blows cold, the heater will bake you out, the trany shifts nice the brakes work great. The only thing that did not work was the rear defrost and I thin that may be as easy as replacing the fuse. I just need to look into it. I jacked it up Tuesday to look at the brakes and they look line new with only a slight bit of dust. All the springs still have vibrant color paint and the axles still have bright steel on the flanges. This car is truly amazing. I did order a set of wheels for it. Here is what I am going to put on.

Thank You. I am very happy to of acquired it. In the 60's my dad had a 63' Catalina 2+2 421 3X2 4-speed Saddle Bronze with Yuma Beige top and my mom had a 63' Bonneville Cameo Ivory convert 389 3X2.
