Does anyone know of a good radiator that will fit in a 1960 Lesabre? The one that is currently installed does not fit well, and does not keep the car as cool as it should.

If you have the surround around the original rad that has the two tabs you can modify a 61-62 Buick rad, it will fit. I had to do that when I launched the fan through my original rad.

Wow, that sounds intense! All of the original stuff is missing. The only thing their now is an aftermarket radiator held on by zip ties.

...from dealership days, I remember 2 causes; failed fan clutch, and bad motor mounts in a torque tube Buick. The torque tube event happened to me bringing customer car from back lot to service dept. As rear wheels drove driveline forward, caused engine to go full throttle while simultaneously eating radiator. Brakes didn't stop it, ignition switch did, all in a couple seconds, but it seemed a lot longer...

Wild...would have never known that. In my case it was pure and simple metal fatigue because some idiot (me) tightened up the fan belt like it was an alternator. The car was idling, and it just went bang and that was it, antifreeze all over the place.
