1937 Buick possibly Century?

    Hello guys. A friend of mine is restoring 1937 Buick. we are looking for any information, photos, details anything will be helpful.

    Thank you good sir. That's a lot of informations.
    My main concern about this car was exactly rumble seat. Can't find any good information about it. Floor is partially made of wood and steel. Dashboard it's stock as well as front end.

    From the brochure it looks like it might’ve started life as a four passenger sports coupe with opera seats. Just saying that based on the extended rear trunk compartment visual. Looks like that’s the only one that the trunk extends back past where the rear fenders end. Either way, quite an interesting and unique piece!

    Looks like you could get the spare tire either way on any model.

    Sidemounts were optional on all models. Looks like you have a custom body in this one, which would explain the use of wood in it. All Buick made bodies were all-steel by 1936. Some European companies would buy a stripped down "export chassis" and put on their own bodies at a customer's request. It would be interesting to figure out more about the body supplier.
