    1000Hp BBB Combo - 3 ways

    Okay guys my 1000HP BBB TriShield built for me is still for sale. This combo has dyno time and a few street miles only as it took me time to workout all of the upgrades I did to the car.

    I will offer it three ways.

    1. Complete Carb to pan including ignition as dyno'd - 9k Shipped and the buyer pays for shipping insurance if wanted, US only.

    76 455 Block- Cryo tempered, girdled, tall filled water jackets- 4.360 bore
    Crank- 76 455 Stocker, .020/.020
    Pistons- TSP/Diamond custom blower piston
    Rods- TA Sportsman Forged
    Compression Ratio- 8.0-1
    Cubic inch- 466
    Heads- Early TA STG 2 SE, 320/250 cfm at .500
    Oiling- all block mods, TA timing cover w/ HV pump, bypass line, SRE oil pan- 100+ psi oil pressure at rpm
    Cam- Custom TSP/TA solid blower grind- Idles @ 800 rpm with 12" Vacuum
    Valvetrain TA 1.65 Rollers- TA solid lifters, TA hardened pushrods
    Intake- TA SP-1 intake- ported
    Billet Timing chain
    SFI Romac balancer
    SFI JW flexplate
    Carb- CSU 850 cfm blow thru double pumper Holley
    MSD pro Billet
    EV Carb Hat
    MSD 6BTM

    2. Intake to pan w/o ignition, carb or carb hat - 8k shipped and the buyer pays for insurance if wanted, US only

    3. Short Block - 5k Shipped and buyer pays for insurance if wanted, US only

    FYI - Motor w/o Supercharger made 525hp, 530tq and will run on 87 octane!

    Okay guys I am putting up for sale my 1000HP BBB short block that TriShield built for me. This combo has dyno time and a few street miles only as it took me time to workout all of the upgrades I did to the car. And now my aluminum 555 TSP short block is ready so......time to make the change.

    I'm curious how much more HP with the Aluminum? Did you thread this build?

    Sorry Jay...no loaners on this deal :)

    Frank we will see 200-300 more hp w/ the new combo....so 1200-1300 hp total. I would have not built my current motor but I started S/C project before TA's block came out and once it did I wasn't sure if would be available if I had a problem. So I purchased one and over the course of the past 6-9 have collected most of the parts and decided to just sell this short block and move on. Certainly not the most cost effective decision I have ever made:spank:

    I have not had the chance to make a pass. I loade up the car and tools yesterday afternoon only to find out they change the program to Friday night:af:. on the Bright side the car has been totally updated for the S/C combo and i will be 100% ready in the spring!

    I don't need a roller...I already have one of those :). I am interested in Holley Dominator EFI and John Gentner's TE heads listed on the board.

  13. with the tall fill is this engine considered a track only deal or will it survive some street use?

    the tall fill will require an external oil cooler for the street. Water temps are not a problem. The SRE pan has a provision for oil temp sending unit.

Jim, I am interested in the complete engine minus carb and ignition. however it all hinges on whether or not the engine i commissioned from a builder hits the dyno in 10 days as scheduled or if there are more delays. I will monitor this post and if it doesn't happen and this is still available i will see what we can work out. Bob

    Okay guys I just pick up another set of heads so the complete motor is up for sale minus the Carb and distributor but those items can be purchased if needed. New price for the complete motor minus S/C set up, carb and distributor is 10K. This is a great deal for anyone who wants to go Turbo or Supercharger route. You cannot build this set up for any where near what I want for it.

    I might split up the top half if but would prefer to sell as a complete dyno proven package.

    I will not sell the carb until the motor sells. I need the funds from the motor sale to fund an EFI conversion. If not I will have to stay blow through.
