1/18 th cars

    a friend and i were workin to have the yellow gsx made,but Davy and Hugh got the deal,i think they used thier oiginal car to make it,2bad they didnt do the bamboo cream convert as well,anyone here when they 1rst brought those 2 cars to bowling green?

    davy kloiner and hugh richardson,hugh owned the dealership where kliener workrd,thats ware the gsx came from that the og model was made from,kliner also did a bambo cream convert,they brought both cars to bg,they were at the holidome,the gsx was up in the air and there was a creeper that was painted like the gsx,it was called the inspection board,you could use it to go under the gsx and check it out,i think hugh has passed away and dave kliner is in wisconsin somewhere,i wish ertl would have made a 1/18th of thr cinvert as well,i has some resin convert models years ago,but it was a short run as the guy wouldnt do them any more,id b glad to answer any more ?s,this was back when the holidome was the place 2b.

    u can ask brad but i think davy also restored the prototype,some of the pics i sent him from the 70 auto show where te red 70 was also on display,the red car originally had a white steering wheel,dash and white shad carpet.

    i think there was also a cany/pearl wildcat convert there,was a peach color,that might have been the 69 display,been along time!

    Allan, the Wildcat was a front to rear fade pearl orange. It was 1970.

    Yep. They're in the safe at home. I'll have to remember to dig them out and scan them.

    yep i dont know of anyothers,it would be kool to show them!hope ur doin ok,seems like only yesterday i was heading to BG and the Holidome!
