I have a nice ‘72 GS 455 fan shroud that needs a good cleaning. What should a guy use to clean it while keeping it looking original and not altering the finish?

I'd start w/just warm/hot water & soap. I have a few damaged 350 shrouds here I was going to scrap. If I get a minute this week I can experiment.

Yeh I thought I’d start with warm water and soap. Just wasnt sure what to use to scrub it with that wasn’t an abrasive.
