    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Anyone have firsthand knowledge of the reproduction front bumper that’s being offered for the ‘70 Buick A-body?

    Fit?
    Chrome quality?
    Any obvious issues?

I see at least three places offering a reproduction front bumper but I assume they are all peddling the same product?

    Thanks.

If they are anything like the Chevelle repop bumpers....they are a thinner gauge metal and the chrome is a bit better than driver quality chrome....definitely not show concours quality chrome.

I would have no problem with them for driver quality car....just not a show car.

Anyone ever weigh one compared to and original and see what the difference is?

So far I've not been able to find anyone that has bought one of these reproduction '70 Buick bumpers.

I got lucky and recently found a NOS front bumper so I’m no longer considering the reproduction bumper.

Incidentally the seller told me that the NOS bumper I just bought was previously sent to China and it was used as the pattern to make these reproduction bumpers. I’m still curious how they fit.
