Several years ago, I had a 03 Mustang Cobra convertible with about 625 hp. I added sub frame connectors, and they helped a fair amount with ride stability. I looked for sub frame connectors for my 72 GS convertible and have not found any as yet. Has anyone found and installed sub frame connectors on a 70-72 GS convertible and if so, did they improve the ride and were they cost effective?
There is a full boxed frame under your car already- its already connected. The best you can do is make sure the body rubbers are good and there is no rot in the frame.. Those boxed frames are notorious for rusting through.
Joe, Thanks for the response and information. Based on your reply I am going to forgo the sub frame connectors and be sure the things you mentioned are squared away. Thanks again, I appreciate it.
