I'm looking to buy a turbo 400 from a 1970 pontiac grad prix to put in my buick Gsx tribute. Does anyone know if this is the same length and will bolt right in? I'm mainly talking about driveshaft length and yoke size. Thanks for any insight.....Tom

The pictured 400 is a short shaft version, just what you need, and the BOP bolt pattern fits Buick/Olds/Pontiac engines. So yes.

I have a 400 out of a 73 Grand Prix behind my 455 in my 70 GS and it’s a direct swap as Larry said

Great, I thought it was, but wanted to check. I'm have another 455 built, and I figured when I swap the engine, I'll upgrade the transmission also. I'm buying it as a core. So it's cheap enough. Thanks everyone
