    Hey Folks-

New to the forum here but am in the market for a 70-72 convertible skylark or GS. Open to anything in that wide spectrum but the car must be in good shape as I am not interested in projects.

I was trying to dig for this car in the leads section but it only came up as a repost and someone had suggested that the original thread consensus was not positive. Would really appreciate some input from some of the more seasoned Buick guys. Car looks nice to me is it worth a look in person?

Yeah dont you wish you had about 4 or 5 Buicks that you could sell off now. Your 71 GS green convertible was really nice. Whats it worth now ?

Thanks, it was. I remember thinking I was really stepping up to buy it. This is what 17,500 bought you only 2 years ago

That is one you may look back on and wish you had kept. That was a clean car from what I recall and didnt you put a 4spd in that car ?

I think a 1971 Convertible GS350 4spd with buckets and loaded would be one killer car to just enjoy. I love the 455's but something about the 350 cars I enjoy as they just dont seem to die lol that 350 can take some serious beatings and with a 4spd that would just be a fun car

Back in the mid 90s I came across a 71 GS 350 convertible four-speed in pieces. The guy had a ton of NOS parts including a grill, headlight doors, It even had a NOS n25 bumper. Was a very rare car, low production number one of 51 4speed , Factory black white roof, white interior. If I was single at the time I would of bought car for $ 1900 most likely still have the car today.

Honestly, my best advice is to wait it out a little and let the market correct itself a little.

The amount of feedback and pms Ive gotten so far is incredible- tons of great examples. @tubecatgs we are already chatting via text before my account was verified. Off to mexico for a week with the wife but plan on making a road trip from chicago the weekend of the 18th to try and see several cars. Thanks for all that have sent me leads! keep them coming. Cant wait to get some keys and start the Buick hobby.

Joe- Tube's car is nice! If I was on the market, this would replace my white one...
