Thanks. I'll have to get some pictures at night time. I don't think their too bad but again, haven't driven at night time. I just tried now, but too much light in garage now LOL From what I remember, I run full brightness on dimmer, but it will dim about half way before shutting off since they are LED's and your probably hitting the Vdrop turn on threshold. I'll put a reminder in my phone to get a picture when it gets dark.

Got. Couple night pics in the garage. And yeah, they don’t dim. Very slightly dim. Turned the knob about half way and then they just shut off.

I turned the key on and got the E brake and brights and hazards to lite up. Along with the courtesy and floor well. Really makes my headliner look wrinkly. Lol

I have to admit: I do like the footwell/sail panel lights bright like that.

I've had LED bulbs in my footwells for a few years. When I had my cluster out last year, I replaced all the bulbs with incandescent units. More so because I had polished the lenses and also didn't want to deal with changing anything to get them to dim correctly, etc.

I'll definitely be grabbing LED sail panels bulbs for next year, though. Nothing wrong with brightening things up when you're getting in/out of the car at night in the world we're living in these days.

From my post from Larry above, I was able to get the fuel gage and dummy lights to work. When I removed the gauges, I just cleaned the circuit board really well and cleaned out all the sockets. Once I did that, everything worked.

Also I must be different than you on taste of brightness. I replaced all of the bulbs with LED including the dummy lights and the turn signals. They are no way too bright in my book. I have modern cars that are beyond bright and the 194s are no where near that bright. I'd even say that the lighting on the fuel gage/dummy lights and also the tach I just put in from the parts place are a little dim! I know my wife does not like our modern cars/trucks lit up all the way and asks me to dim it down to the night version. The flasher seems to be the same as before. I assume you were talking about the speed of the green arrows flashing. I hope I do not have to change the flasher later.

To each their own but for some of you, you may prefer all the lights LED in the interior. You may want to check both ways when you have the dash out and see how the green arrow turn signals work and flash.

FYI to anyone that thinks their clock or tach looks dim. I went to a 400 lumen 1893 bulb from the previous 210 lumen bulb I just recently installed and now my tach is the same light intensity as the speedometer. It looks way better now to me. If you prefer it dimmer, stick with less lumens of course but for me, 400 lumen bulbs is perfect for the tach and balances with the speedo perfectly.
