Doing a OEM 65 goat Carter 4bbl It was pretty rough , some idle screw issues , gunk in fuel bowl etc . Some TLC time , getting ready to start getting it together . But , the choke piston is seized , got it soaking now but it is not feeling good . Same as Buick ? Close . Any info appreciated . Thanks
Got the end cap off , worked the piston out , polished up the piston and bore etc . Test fit seems ok . A little lube , adjusted inner arm , installed on carb and played around with it , seems like normal . GTO guy picked it up other day . Told him to let me know how it goes . We'll see .
