I remember running into Ron in 2011 out here in Riverhead when he was still in NY. He stopped at the Walmart for ice on his way to a car show. I didn't know him at the time but saw his car and walked over to him and we started talking. It didn't take long before
I realized he was Mooney on the V8Buick forum. I snapped a pic of his car, I didn't think I still had it.

Not sure. New Owner is from Jacksonville, FL. I posted the ad for the car here, and on the AACA board, both in the GM section, and the Buick section. New owner could have seen it there, or been told of it by someone who had access to the boards/ads.

I bet uHaul would not rent that trailer knowing what car was going on it!!! They don’t even like our 70-72 Skylarks going on them.

Congrats to the new owner and Mrs. Mooney.

Yep! I tried to rent one for a ‘68 Wildcat. No go! Next store I told them it was a Vega.

From my own experience, if the trip is more than a couple of hours, sometimes it easier to find a trailer then a second driver. I sold my wife's Boxster last weekend to a guy 2.5 hours away, and he brought a trailer as he couldn't find anyone who wanted to spend 5 hours of their Sunday picking up his car with him, lol.

Also Guilty, they don't want you putting hardly any thing on there trailers.

Uhaul wouldn't let me rent one to haul a truck bed.. they can be tough to deal with. Undoubtedly they would have $hit if they saw the 225 on that trailer. I hope that avalanche was a 3/4 ton..
